Pleasant Bay Estate offers all the best of Cape Cod living, right at your door. Boating and birding, swimming and sunning, fishing and beachcombing are only a few steps across the broad, shady lawn. Pleasant Bay Estate contains two rental properties: the Guest House sleeps two and the Beach House sleeps four. They can be rented separately or together.

From the property's private beach, the sweep of the bay draws the eye out past the barrier islands and marsh to the sandy strip of Atlantic Ocean shoreline. The boundary line between Chatham and South Orleans is indicated by a buoy marker in the bay in front of the estate.

These homes are located on two acres in a private residential area that feels miles away from the bustle of the world. In reality, Orleans' many restaurants, freshwater ponds, ocean beaches and abundant recreational opportunities -- among them shopping, cycling and sports fishing tours -- are only minutes away. Quaint downtown Chatham is a short, scenic drive away, as is the Cape Cod National Seashore. Marinas offering boating services and rentals are located nearby. There are many golf courses in the area.

Pleasant Bay is home to a vast array of bird species. Great Blue Heron and Osprey are frequent sights, and an occasional gray seal strays from the larger group that lives nearby to sun itself on a rock just offshore. If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of a red fox, leaving tracks on the beach in the golden morning sunlight.
